Ani Orchanian-Cheff

Ani Orchanian-Cheff BA, MISt

Ani Orchanian-Cheff is the Information Specialist for nephrology and transplantation at the Health Sciences Libraries of the University Health Network, Toronto. She has a Master of Information Studies degree from the University of Toronto and over 20 years of experience in Health Sciences librarianship. In her capacity as Information Specialist, Ani provides expert literature searching for regular and systematic reviews, and training on informatics, evidence-based literature searching, and the effective use of library resources. Ani provides support to research students from the Multi-Organ Transplant program through regular training sessions as well as one-on-one consultations and mentoring to assist with literature searching. She is a past recipient of a Wightman-Berris Academy Individual Teaching Award (2007) and has been a lecturer for the Summer Program in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (SPICE & B) since 2015. Ani loves teaching and has a passion for helping research students develop their information literacy skills.
